Workshops
What’s your ecological handprint?
Levers for positive change.
We often hear about our ecological footprint: the negative impacts that our actions have on the world. In this workshop, we’ll think about how to shift from fear, frustrations and feeling stuck to exploring ways that we can have a positive impact on the world around us. By focusing on the good we do, and how we can do more good, we can model the change we want to see in the world and step by step, make sustainable action the status quo.
In this facilitated, participatory workshop, we’ll explore:
- The ripples we cause
- Our current handprints: what are we already doing that’s good?
- The superpowers that make our handprints matter: what skills, abilities, experience and know-how can we use to make our handprints even bigger?
- What new handprints can we add to our existing collection?
- How we can keep up the momentum – and our spirits! – in challenging times
This workshop is based on the work of Rocky Rohwedder and the results of the Environmental Handprint project. It can be offered as a workshop for adult audiences, and teens, and we also have a shorter, creative workshop for young children.
